Our Purpose
Hands of Hope is devoted to uplifting communities by providing food, clothing, and compassion to those in need. Inspired by our motto “It takes nothing to be kind” and with the 3 R’s: Rescue, reuse, and restore, we believe that every contribution matters, whether it is volunteering a helping hand, a listening ear, or a financial donation.
The purpose of our non-profit is to be sustainable, striving to reduce food waste and recycle secondhand clothing through strong partnerships with local/retail businesses and community members. Our vision is growing, and soon, we will provide resources to support those in need around the globe. Join us in our mission to help the community, one act of kindness at a time.

Founders Letter
L & M’s Hands of Hope isn’t just something we created; it’s something we’re continuously building with intention.
We’ve both been fortunate in ways we don’t take for granted. It’s about stepping in where we can, offering a helping hand when it’s needed, and using what we have to make someone else’s day a little easier. Whether that’s food, clothing, or simply knowing someone cares, it all matters.
We’ve witnessed times where people need support, opportunities, and people to show up for them when they need it most. It was quickly made clear at some point that not everyone has a support system. Not everyone has access to the basic things they need day to day. Even as simple as someone to lean on. That didn’t sit right with us.
We became close during a time when we were both in need, and we made it through because we had each other tone deserves to feel supported. To feel seen. To know that if they olean on. That season of our lives taught us that no one should have to face their hardest moments alone. We believe everyneed help, someone will be there.
That’s what this is about.
